Currently I am having a huge debate with the Western Australian Police force, who believe that a .338 lapua is not good for hunting, apparently its toooooo powerful, I have always lived buy the therory that you cant beat cubes, as such I need as much info about hunting with this cartridge as possible can anyone out there please help me

I would assume that you are planning to hunt large game at long distances with this caliber. It is a great caliber for such hunting cause it has the capabilites to really cover a lot of distance for long range hunting. Are you planning to shoot 500-1000 yrds with the .338?
