Does Trajectory show you how fast the bullets energy falls off of the bullet?

Mburu,

Good question. By defenition Trajectory is simply the arch that a bullet must travel to compensate for gravity and hit the target at the intended point of impact.

However, by analysis of the equation yes, trajectory can tell you how fast the energy falls off a bullet. As a bullet looses velocity it's trajectory becomes more pronounced. Energy is calculated based on Velocity. So as the trajectory becomes more pronounced the velocity is slower and the energy is at a lower level. So the change in slope or the increased steepness of the trajectory is an indicator of how quickly the energy is falling of the bullet.
